01 / Monthly bookkeeping

Ready to hand over the books?

For growing small businesses that want the books kept up to date without having to manage every transaction themselves.

Quietly dependable

You run the business. I’ll keep the books in order.

I’ll take care of the regular bookkeeping, keep an eye on what needs attention and make sure you can see what is going on. If the business needs more help later, we can add it then.

02 / Monthly support

Start with what you need. Add support as your business grows.

Confirmed starting price

From £150/month

Every business is different. Your monthly price will depend on things like how many transactions you have, how complex your books are and how much support you need.

What’s included each month

  • Keep Xero up to date
  • Categorise transactions
  • Reconcile the bank
  • Record income and expenses
  • Keep your records organised
  • Check the books regularly
  • Quarterly reports

What shapes your price

There are no fixed packages to squeeze your business into. I’ll look at the books with you and price the work that is actually needed.

  • How many transactions you have
  • How complex your books are
  • How often you need support
  • How much help you need each month
  • Any extra work we agree together

Timing and reports

Monthly bookkeeping is billed at the beginning of the month. I aim to finish that month’s books by the end of the month, as long as I have the records and answers I need. You’ll receive reports every quarter, with more frequent reporting available if we agree it as part of your service.

Extra help when you need it

VAT

If you need help with VAT, it can be added to your monthly bookkeeping or discussed on its own. The price is still to be confirmed.

Payroll

Payroll can be added if you need it, or discussed on its own. The price will depend on how many people you employ and what is involved.

Credit control

This might mean keeping an eye on unpaid invoices or taking a more active role in chasing them. We can talk through what would actually help.

A little more help

If there is other bookkeeping-related work you need help with, we can talk it through and agree the cost before anything starts.

    Bookkeeping begins

The form simply starts a conversation. If we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll send over the quote, agreement and invoice. Once those are sorted, we’ll get your Xero access and records in place and take it from there.

If I’m waiting for records or answers, the bookkeeping may take a little longer. Because I set aside time for your business each month, the monthly fee still applies even when the records arrive late.

Dainty & Grace focuses on bookkeeping and related help. I can also help with Self Assessment tax returns, but I do not currently offer Corporation Tax returns or company accounts.

04 / How we’ll work together

Keeping in touch

You can contact me by business WhatsApp or email. I normally reply within 24 hours during Monday–Friday, 10am–2pm, excluding UK bank holidays.

Sending your records

You can send your records through Xero, email or WhatsApp. Where it works for your business, Xero is usually the easiest way to keep everything together.

If you need more help

Your service should match the work being done. If you ask for something we did not originally plan, I’ll explain what is involved and check any extra cost with you before going ahead.

Your books don't need to be perfect.

They need to be understood. Start with a straightforward conversation about where things are now.
